My phone freezes even after the screen has been replaced twice!

my girlfriends phone has had the screen replaced twice now and still it freezes up or has calibration issues. only way to get it to work is by restarting the phone numerous times a day. what can i replace to fix this problem? repair guy says possible water damage but this phone has not been in water. i used two different repair stores and no solution as of yet.
