Stupid issues. i installed a new SSD and when i was putting it all back together with new adhesive strips i noticed i forgot to reinstall the small plastic brackets that hold the drive in place. i did put the rubber parts back in but not the brackets. will this cause any issues?

It could - that's why there are brackets =8^[ since It's an SSD there should be no vibration from it, but fans or other components in the machine may shake it over time until it moves... not a good thing.
