"Clicking" sound when clicking the MacBook Pro unibody?

Just got my MacBook Pro. Everything works fine, except from one thing. When I have it on my lap, I can hear some kind of clicking sound when it I'm touching something, the battery I think, which comes if you touch your unibody (bottom). It ain't coming anything if I'm touching it at the top of the unibody, just near the battery at the bottom. Video:

There should be no clicking

Since this is new I'd take it to a genius bar if one is close. 0r get on the phone/web to apple... Clicking could be a number of things none of them good.

If this answer is acceptable please return and mark it.

Good Luck,

N.

I think I'm gonna do that. I'm just afraid their gonna use as long time as they used to send me my computer.. I need my MacBook Pro everyday, so less than a week would be great. How does this work? Am I sending it in to Apple, their fixing it (or giving me a new MacBook Pro?) and they send it back? Thank you so much for helping.

Ah, thanks. Is there any tutorial to do this yourself? 'Cause there ain't any Apple Stores near me, the only Apple Store near me is 7 hours away driving. My dad is very good with computers so is there anything that may need to be tighten up? Thanks for helping.

If it's new it's under warranty - why would you not have Apple fix this? By overnight mail/UPS/DHL it should take less than a week.

My experience with Apple Care service (directly to Apple, not a authorized Provider) call day one, get box the next morning, ship that day, it's fixed and on the way back the next, fourth day it's in your hands that morning.

Oh right. But my problem is actually gone - so long. Just had to take of the bottom case and put it back again. Some screws wasn't tight enough. :-) Thanks for helping guys, I really appriciate it.

I have resolved this issue by tightening the screws on the bottom cover of the laptop. I began hearing the click after I replaced my HD. Occasionally I have to tighten the screws again, I guess they don't hold down well and since I travel a lot they unscrew slightly.

If the screws unscrew slightly put a dab of loctite threadlocker blue, or similar product, on them and they should hold in place just fine, but still allow you to undo them again.

Hi, tightening the screws is good only for a while. I did and it came back after 2-3 days of moving the laptop from one place to another.

To fix it once for all, here what you should do :
