I only noticed this when failing to move apps from page 2 to page 1 - thats how small of an area that is affected. Could this be caused by a misaligned ribbon or something, or did I damage the digitizer during the battery replacement?

Make sure the screen connectors are seed correctly If they are then it's most likely a new digatizer that you need
