When the phone is put on charge, the charging indicator lights up for about 2 seconds before goin off. The screen does not turn on. So is there a way of finding out if the PCB is damaged other than replacing one?

farhan, start with a new battery. That will give you a known-good part for further troubleshooting. It could be the charger, the cable, the charging port or the charging coil on the logicboard as well as a firmware issue....start simple and work your way up. Hope this helps, good luck.

thanks.. will try that and see how it goes. and what if the charging coil on the logic board is damaged?? is there a way of replacing only that?

What have you tried so far? Does it charge your battery?

I feel the battery getting a bit warm after about 10-15mins of charge time. But since the phone doesnt switch on, i cant really see if the battery is getting charged or not.
