it may be because of you settings, if you go into the settings there is an option for sound controls and you can set it to the right or to the left, if its not that its your headphone jack itself and there is a repair guide on ifixit, just replace it, it is so easy to do.

I didnt find the sound control option you described.
In Settings I have this options:

Backlight Timer
EQ
Sound Check (I checked this ON or OFF)
Contrat
Clicker
Date & Time
Contacts
Language
Legal
Reset All Setting (I tryed this also)
I wanna tre this before buy an headphone jack.

Ricardo Drozdowski Junior, this question was answered almost a year ago ;-) I do not think that it is within your settings on this model. I do believe that you will have to take a look at the headphone jack and probably will have to replace it. Also, make sure that your headphones are ok. You may want to try new ones out first.
