Displaying Random Colored Pixels After Screen Replacement?

After replacing the screen on a Nexus 7 2nd Gen when I power it on I don't get any display not the google logo, nothing. Until it gets to what seems like it would be the swipe to unlock screen. At that point it shows this random color pixels.

I cannot hard reset it as when that menu would appear the same display comes up. It appears that it is trying to work and displays the pixels when it would be displaying something on the screen but it's just a bad picture. I can't determine if the problem is a bad screen which the seller claims they test before they ship or the display cable.

I bought the screen from

Here are screen shots of the display I'm getting.

I've tried unplugging the battery and letting it sit then re installing the battery and the screen but it didn't make a difference.

Same here, with Nexus 4 (LG E690). Well, I guess it's just the old hardware (GPU) having glitches. Now it is just happen more often, to the point almost everytime now. But, if anybody can give solution, that would be great.

Hi Ryan,

Was you able to resolve this issue?

I'm having the same problem. I've just replaced the screen and digitizer but all it shows is random pixels, exactly as your screen shots show.

Is anyone able to help with this?

Thank you for your help

Sorry no one has been able to hep me with this. I have posted on multiple sites.

I ended up buying a new tablet to get the issue dealt with.
