iPhone 3G moving memory to another 3g, white screen problem

I have an old iphone 3g which had the white screen problem

But i tried many times all the possible solutions like pressing home+power buttons but it keeps showing the white screen

I even took it to an apple repair shop but they told me it couldn't repaired !!

Now i want to access to an importants notes and photos in the iphone

What im thinking is to buy another used 3g and try to move the meomry from old one to the new one

And then i have the accses to my needed notes

Is that possible ? And how can i do it ?

Or any suggested solutions please ?

Thank you.

The storage portion of your iPhone is part of it's logic board, meaning you would need to move the entire logic board over to the new iPhone. This is possible though the problem I would be leery of is that your logic board might be causing the white screen.

A quicker/easier solution would be to remove the display assembly from the good/working iPhone 3G and install it on your current iPhone 3G. If the display is the problem on your old iPhone then this will fix it and you'll be able to retrieve your information. iPhone 3G display assembly replacement

If the display doesn't fix it then the logic board is the next likely culprit. Moving it from your old iPhone to the new one would only bring the problem along with it. Hopefully this isn't the case since the logic board contains your data.

I had asked about an iTunes backup because, if available, you could simply restore the backup to the spare iPhone. With the iPhone being locked and the screen being white I don't believe this is an option with iTunes. You might look into iExplorer and similar products to see if they allow you to browse a locked iPhone in real time.

Good luck!
