I assume you are asking about the PRAM battery. If not what computer and battery are you asking about? Ralph
It's a 3.6 volt 1/2 AA Lithium battery that you can buy at Radio Shack or other places.

In case of G4 MDD it's 1/2 AA size 3.6V PRAM battery.
Right code is 14250 (14 mm in diameter and 25 mm in length).
Different models are available. As for me I prefer SAFT or MINIMOTO brands. The first one used to be produced in France but nowadays it's from China. The second one is undoubted China as well.
Both are Ok, but SAFT is graded for up to 110 degrees centigrade (Celsius) leakage proof, while MINIMOTO - just 85 degrees centigrade.
Here in Russia it costs of 250 and 200 russian rubles, respectively (~about $7-8 USD).
Be careful with the polarity (follow to sights on the board)!!!
After battery change it is good to clear PRAM by pressing reset button near the IDE ATA-33 connector according the known procedure. Good luck!
