Are Magsafe I/O boards electrically compatible? Models A1150 and A1226

Hello I have MBP A1150 with battery is detected but not charging (nor working off it) problem. It's not a charger problem and it's not the battery either I've tried different ones.

So it's either left i/o board or logic board because of water damage. I would like to rule out first first.

I have A1226 (with dead video) laying around it's power circuitry working fine so I've become interested if I could just connect internal power coming of A1150 logic board to A1226 left I/O board to test if it's I/O or logic board and then do accordingly? I mean I know those board will not fit into casing but is contacts of power cable are the same?
