It seems that they use either their own technicians or an authorized service provider who you would think would be able to fix the problem. They also specify that they use OEM replacement [link|https://www.thermador.com/us/support/spareparts|parts], so you could check if they have what you think you need first.
Depending on the cost it may be worth a try.
-Unfortunately there's no service information online e.g. service manuals, wiring diagrams etc regarding Thermador products so if there's an electrical problem and not a mechanical one it would be difficult to find out exactly what the problem is, unless it was an obvious component failure and even then you'd have to verify whether it just failed or if something else caused it to fail.
