Hi @rrr72079
Try a full power refresh and check if that works.
Here's the procedure:
a). Turn off the laptop if on and disconnect the charger from the laptop if connected.
b). Open the laptop and disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard.
Here's the [link|https://dl.dell.com/content/manual13059505-inspiron-15-3511-service-manual.pdf?language=en-us|service manual] that will help with this. Go to p.20 to view the procedure to remove/replace the battery. You don't have to remove the battery, just disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard as described.
c). ''Press and hold the laptop's Power button for a full 30 seconds and then release it.''
d) Reconnect the battery cable to the motherboard, reassemble the laptop, connect the charger and check if it turns on OK.
-If it does there ''may'' be a message saying that the date and time are incorrect. This is normal as the BIOS has been reset back to its factory default setting. Once the date and time are corrected the message won't appear the next time the laptop is started. Also any user definable settings in BIOS that have been changed by you to suit whatever system requirements you have, will have to be changed back again as well.
