Hi @tonythegre12370,

Seems as though there's a backlight power supply problem on the motherboard.

Unfortunately if your motherboard model is a Laduree-SKY MB 14263-1 series board, there are no schematics available online, or none that I can find anyway.

With backlight power supplies there are usually two ways that it is supplied to the LVDS cable connector on the board, either via a fuse or directly from a power mosfet on the board. Without the schematic I don't know which is applicable to your board

What is the same for both is that when the laptop is turned on, there is always power supplied to the backlights and it is turned on and off in the LCD screen by a signal sent on the Backlight Enable lead, between the motherboard and the screen.

I think that your LVDS cable is a 30 pin cable so you could try checking on pins 1-3 or 27-29 for any voltages but this is just a guess as that is where they ''might'' be.

If you know the make and model number of the LCD panel you may be able to find the datasheet for it and then that will give you the pinout for the LVDS connections.

This will only help to know which pins the backlight power should be seen on.

''If there is no power detected'' on the required pins then it will be hard to know which component on the board would be needed to be tested as a fuse might not be marked but check anyway for any components near to the LVDS connector on the board that have an F designation and make sure that they test OK i.e. 0.00 Ohms - short circuit.

''If there is power detected'' then maybe check if the lid switch sensor is OK or if you can find out the Backlight Enable pin number that there's a voltage (usually 3V-5V) on it.
