Yes the power button can continue to work. I did a video on an iPhone 11 where the only thing wrong was a tiny tweezer mark in ''just'' the "wrong" spot on the power flex cable which crimped the line for the temp sensor. Power button itself worked just fine. For yours--if your power button is working, you can check the connector and flex under magnification to see if you can pinpoint the exact problem. It could be a dimple or tear in the flex, but it could also be a problem at the connector on the board.[br]
