Hi,
You don’t say what the problem is or what you have tried to do to fix the problem but replacing the WiFi chip seems a bit excessive.
Have you tried disabling the ''smart network switch'' to see if this fixes the problem?
Here’s how to do this:
-Enable the mobile data connection.
+Enable the ''mobile data'' connection.
Then go to ''Menu -> Settings -> Wireless'' and ''uncheck'' the ''smart network switch'' option
Your internet connection may not be so stable anymore as it won’t be switching between the WiFi and the mobile network internet connection trying to achieve the most stable connection possible.
Also try [https://www.t-mobile.com/support/devices/android/lg-g4/wipe-cache-partition-lg-g4|wiping the cache partition] in case there is corrupted cached data that is affecting the WiFi
