I missed the 'X' in the model number.
btw, it was the microphone part I showed. Also the quote regarding the "microsoldering skills" is ifixit's, not mine.

At 6:24 minutes into the video it shows the location of the 2 microphones at the top of the motherboard and a 6:54 minutes into the video it shows the location of a 3rd microphone at the bottom of the board. As you can see they are all SMD devices on the motherboard and not on separately connected modules, so perhaps the microsoldering comment might also be applicable to them as well.

As best that I can determine it will most probably be the same microphone for a 5X as used in a 5, and therefore it will be most probably be microsoldered. The quote regarding microsoldering comes from the ifixit spare parts page. It is not my quote.
