Soften the battery adhesive

  • Prepare an iOpener and apply it to the rear side of your Apple Watch for at least two minutes to loosen the adhesive underneath the battery.

  • A hair dryer, heat gun, or hot plate may also be used, but be careful not to overheat the watch—the display and internal battery are both susceptible to heat damage.

De lijm onder de batterij verzwakken

Verwarm een iOpener en leg deze gedurende minimaal twee minuten op de achterzijde van de Apple Watch om de lijm onder de batterij te verzwakken.

Je kunt hiervoor ook een föhn, warmtepistool of een kookplaat gebruiken, maar wees bij het gebruik hiervan wel extra voorzichtig en voorkom dat je je toestel oververhit. Vooral het scherm en de batterij zijn beide erg gevoelig voor aan warmte gerelateerde schade.
