Separate the left edge adhesive

  • Apply a suction cup to the back of the phone, as close to the center of the left edge as possible.

  • Pull on the suction cup with strong, steady force to create a gap between the back cover and the frame.

  • Insert the point of an opening pick into the gap.

  • As the glass on this edge is curved, you won't be able to insert this pick very far. As long as the very tip of the pick is underneath the glass's edge, you will be able to proceed.

  • Due to tight tolerances, this may take multiple attempts.

  • If you are having trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to the edge and try again.

  • You can try also applying a few drops of high concentration (over 90%) isopropyl alcohol into the seam to help loosen the adhesive.

  • Do not apply excessive force with the pick, or you risk cracking the back cover glass.

Separa el adhesivo del borde izquierdo

Aplica una ventosa en la parte posterior del teléfono, lo más cerca posible del centro del borde izquierdo.

Tira de la ventosa con una fuerza fuerte y constante para crear un espacio entre la cubierta trasera y el marco.

Inserta la punta de una púa de apertura en la grieta.

Como el vidrio de este borde está curvado, no podrás insertar esta púa muy lejos. Mientras la punta de la púa esté debajo del borde del vidrio, podrás proceder.

Debido a las estrechas tolerancias, esto puede requerir múltiples intentos.

Si tienes problemas para crear un hueco, aplica más calor en el borde e inténtalo de nuevo.

También puedes intentar aplicar unas gotas de alcohol isopropílico de alta concentración (más del 90%) en la costura para ayudar a aflojar el adhesivo.

No apliques una fuerza excesiva con la púa, o se arriesga a que se rompa el cristal de la tapa trasera.
