Separate the bottom edge adhesive

  • Apply a suction cup to the back of the phone, as close to the center of the bottom edge as possible.

  • If your display is badly cracked, covering it with a layer of clear packing tape may allow the suction cup to adhere. Alternatively, very strong tape may be used instead of the suction cup. If all else fails, you can superglue the suction cup to the broken screen.

  • Pull on the suction cup with strong, steady force to create a gap between the back cover and the frame.

  • Insert the point of an opening pick into the gap.

  • Due to tight tolerances, this may take multiple attempts of reheating with the iOpener and separating with the suction cup before you get it right.

  • If you are having trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to the edge and try again.

  • Do not apply excessive force with the pick, or you risk cracking the back cover glass.

Separa el adhesivo del borde inferior

Aplica una ventosa en la parte posterior del teléfono, lo más cerca posible del centro del borde inferior.

Si la pantalla está muy agrietada, cubrirla con una capa de cinta adhesiva transparente puede permitir que la ventosa se adhiera. Como alternativa, se puede utilizar cinta muy resistente en lugar de la ventosa. Si todo lo demás falla, puede pegar la ventosa a la pantalla rota.

Tira de la ventosa con una fuerza fuerte y constante para crear un espacio entre la cubierta trasera y el marco.

Inserta la punta de una púa de apertura en el hueco.

Debido a las estrechas tolerancias, esto puede requerir múltiples intentos de recalentamiento con el iOpener y de separación con la ventosa antes de que lo consigas.

Si tienes problemas para crear un hueco, aplica más calor en el borde e inténtalo de nuevo.

No apliques una fuerza excesiva con la púa, o se arriesga a que se rompa el cristal de la tapa trasera.
