  • As interesting as the display is, we're pretty sure it has to come off last. Instead, we attack the back cover with our classic move: heat–lift–slice.

  • Since the fingerprint sensor sits under the display, we shouldn't encounter any boobytrap cables here—except for perhaps the camera flash ...

  • We make it through unscathed! The back cover lifts off cleanly (with some gentle convincing). Everything peeking through the back cover while this thing is sealed up is either mounted in the plastic camera frame, or safely housed in the camera module—no booby trap cables here.

Hoe interessant het scherm dan ook moge zijn, we weten vrij zeker dat deze er als laatste af gaat komen. Dus vallen we in plaats daarvan de achterste behuizing aan met onze klassieke sequentie: verwarmen-optillen-doorsnijden.

Aangezien de vingerafdruksensor zich onder het scherm bevindt, zouden we geen extra boobytrap-kabels moeten vinden hier—behalve dan misschien de kabel van de flits.

We komen er zonder kleerscheuren vanaf! De achterste behuizing komt er mooi en zonder moeite af (hoewel we de behuizing enigszins moesten overtuigen). Alles waar we bang voor waren bevindt zich óf in het plastic cameraframe óf in de cameramodule bevestigd—geen boobytrap-kabels dus!
