Lifting the battery

  • Use the exposed clear plastic pull tab to peel the battery off the adhesive securing it to the iPhone.

  • If you are having trouble peeling the battery up or if the tab breaks, apply a few drops of high concentration (over 90%) isopropyl alcohol under the edge of the battery.

  • Wait about one minute for the alcohol solution to weaken the adhesive. Use an opening tool to gently lift the battery by its edge.

  • Don't try to forcefully lever the battery out. If needed, apply a few more drops of alcohol to further weaken the adhesive. Never deform or puncture the battery with your pry tool.

  • If there's any alcohol solution remaining in the phone, carefully wipe it off or allow it to air dry before installing your new battery.

  • If you still have trouble peeling the battery up, use an iOpener or hair dryer to heat the rear case of the iPhone and soften the adhesive.

  • Overheating the iPhone may ignite the battery.

Levantando la bateria

Usa la lengüeta para jalar de plástico transparente para pelar la batería del adhesivo asegurandola al iPhone

Si tienes problemas pelando la batería o la lengüeta se rompe, aplica unas gotas de alcohol isopropilico de alta concentración (mayor a 90%) debajo el borde de la batería

Espera por alrededor de un minuto para que el alcohol debilite el adhesivo. Usa una herramienta de apertura para levantar gentilmente la batería por su borde.

No trates de levantar la batería forzosamente. Si es necesario, aplica unas gotas mas de alcohol isopropilico para debilitar mas el adhesivo. Nunca deformes o perfores la batería con tu herramienta.

Si hay alguna solución restante de alcohol en el teléfono, limpialo cuidadosamente o deja que seque antes de instalar tu nueva batería.

Si tienes problemas despegando la batería, utiliza un iOpener o secadora de pelo para calentar la carcasa trasera del iPhone y ablandar el adhesivo.

Sobre calentar el iPhone puede incendiar la batería.
