Undo the Clips for the Screen and Remove it

  • Release the Clips: Using a plastic prying tool, gently slide it between the screen and the frame. Work your way around the edges, carefully releasing the clips.

  • Power Button Board: Make sure not to damage this part.

  • Note: It is easier to work from the bottom left side and then clockwise around, because the power button board is on the bottom right side. This is what is shown in the picture.

  • WARNING: Take care not to apply excessive force, as this could crack the screen or damage the clips.

  • Life the Screen: Once all the clips have been undone, gently lift the screen away from the frame.

  • Note: It may be helpful to support the screen from both sides to prevent bending or damaging it.

  • WARNING: When lifting the screen, be aware that there are wires and tape connected to it. Carefully lift the screen and place it right next to the PC body to avoid pulling any wiring. Take extra care not to stretch or disconnect any cables.
