  1. Paso 1 Back Panel

    Before you proceed, make sure your computer is turned off and is not connected to any power source.

    • Before you proceed, make sure your computer is turned off and is not connected to any power source.

    • Orient the laptop in such a way that the bottom is facing up and the optical drive is facing to the left of yourself.

  2. Paso 2

    Remove the 7mm Phillips #1 screw.

    • Remove the 7mm Phillips #1 screw.

    • Be sure to store the screws carefully as they are easy to lose. A magnetic project mat is recommended

    • Carefully remove the optical drive bracket by pulling the bezel away from the laptop.

    • Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the twelve screws around the back panel from the laptop.
