This guide shows you the easy process of removing your laptop's display screen.

Before attempting to remove the screen, please determine whether the problem stems from the device's hardware or from its software. Refer to the troubleshooting guide for details: Hisense Chromebook C11 Troubleshooting

  1. Turn off the laptop and disconnect it from power.
    • Turn off the laptop and disconnect it from power.

  2. Snap the plastic holds off of the screen protector using a plastic opening tool.
    • Snap the plastic holds off of the screen protector using a plastic opening tool.

    • Remove the screw caps.

    • Unscrew the screws with a PH00 screwdriver and set them aside.

    • Remove the screen protector.

    • Unscrew the screen screws with a PH000 screwdriver and set them aside. Be sure to support the screen protector in case it falls.

    • Lay the screen down. Be cautious and gentle.

    • Disconnect the screen.
