Remove battery and base cover from the computer.

Open the retention clips away from the memory chip.

Paso 3 Remove memory chip

Remove the memory chip from the computer.

Paso 4 New memory chip

Put a new memory chip in the memory socket.

Paso 5 Push in memory clips; second chip installed

Push the memory chip until the clips lock it. If a second memory chip needs to be installed, repeat steps 1 through 6.

Paso 6 Replace pre-removal parts

Replace the pre-removal parts in descending order.

Paso 7 Install battery and base cover

Install the battery and base cover back on the computer.
