Low Battery Life
The battery does not last for a long time even after a full charge.
Old Battery
When you do a full charge on your battery and it lasts significantly less than what it used to, that might be indicating the battery is dead and needs to be replaced. You can find a guide for changing your battery here.
Faulty Battery
The battery will not charge when you plug it in to your charger, you will need to change the battery, you can use this guide here.
Fan Noise Fan Problems
The fan is not working properly and it creates a lot of noise when running.
Accumulation of Dust
If you notice that your fan is creating a lot of noise or feels like it is struggling to move then your fans are probably just overloaded with dust and need to be cleaned out. For this you should use a can of compressed air.
Faulty Fans
Your fan could also be malfunctioning, if using the compressed air does not help you should replace your fans with this guide.
Touchpad Not Zooming or Scrolling
The touchpad does not respond when zooming in and out or scrolling up and down.
Broken Touchpad
When you are unable to scroll or zoom when you are using your laptop this is an issue with your touchpad. What you could try is using a Bluetooth or separate mouse which would be a way to get around it but replacing the touchpad itself is another option you can use this replacement guide to help.
Outdated Drivers
If your touchpad isn't working, it may be a result of a missing or out-of-date driver. Updating or reinstalling your touchpad drivers in Device Manager may help solve the problem.
Black Screen Or Flickering Screen
The screen has trouble staying on while the laptop is on and flickers during use.
Unresponsive Display
If you can not see anything on your screen, try to restart it or revive it using Windows Key + Control + Shift + B.
Broken Screen
If the screen is physically broken and causes the screen to flicker or pixels to not work the screen needs to be replaced.

Faulty Hard Drive
If you can’t get your computer to work or you can hear clicking sounds come from your computer when you access data from your hard drive these are signs of your hard drive failing. To get around this you could get external hard drives or replace your existing hard drive.
Faulty RAM
If your computer randomly restarts or just shuts off in the middle of something this could be a sign of faulty RAM.
Overheating
When the laptop generates a lot of heat and it becomes hot, it overheats.
Overworked Fans
If your laptop is overheating most likely you need to clean your fans. You should use a compressed air can to get rid of all the buildup of dust and materials or you could try replacing a fan that is not working with this guide here.
Clogged Airways
There is a good chance that your laptop has a buildup of dust in the air vents and does not have enough room to flow which could create heat. To fix this you could use a can of compressed air to clear out any of the blockings. Another thing that would help is keeping your laptop on a solid object to give the vents some space without smothering them.
