Slow Hard Drive Speed
Slow gaming and overall speed of laptop.
Faulty Hard Drive
If you are experiencing slowness of the computer’s general state, this may be the result of a slow hard drive which is caused by malware or physical damage. In order to resolve this issue, the hard drive should be replaced. Click here for instructions on the process.
Full Hard Drive
A full hard drive is going to cause lagging in certain programs. The quick resolution is to empty some of the storage by deleting files or programs. If the problem persists, you can install a larger hard drive by following these steps.
Faulty connection to Bluetooth
Issues trying to use the Bluetooth setting.
Bluetooth not connecting
Make sure that you have your Bluetooth switched on. Go to the setting of the laptop and if it is not on switch it on.
Bluetooth drive not in place
Sometimes the Bluetooth device is not placed properly in the hardware so make sure to have your Bluetooth installed in the proper place and connected. That may happen when you have changed other parts and unintentionally moved the Bluetooth device. Follow this link to replace the Bluetooth.
High heat conduction
Netbook shuts off when high heat is produced.
Dusty Fan
Having dust in the fan could be an issue and make the device shut off by itself. To clean your Fan and Heatsink, use a can of air and blow out any dirt from your Acer 1830T Fan. You can also use a paint brush to clean out the dirt from the hard to get areas. Somtimes cleaning your Acer 1830T laptop fan will actually repair it. Dirt can cause the Acer 1830T Laptop Fan to make noise and even stop spinning properly.
Damaged Fan
When your computer experiences high heat conduction, it may cause the fan to work harder than it’s used to causing it to become worn out. If this is the case, the fan should be replaced following this guide.
Low Battery Life
Laptop does not hold charge for long period of time or must be plugged in to charger in order to be used .
Faulty Battery
If the laptop will not start unless you have your charger plugged in then the battery should be replaced. Follow this link to replace your laptop’s battery.
Laptop Doesn't Load
The laptop performance slows to the point of crashing or freezing.
Amount of RAM Not Adequate
If the laptop is not working normally, which can be crashing without an apparent reason, the RAM may be full or damaged. To fix the issue install a new RAM.
Overheated RAM
