Code says low power input .range sensor

My wire harness from the transmission was getting loose because the little nubs that the harness grabs to pullitself tight when you pull the lever down on the harness were some how sheared off so the harness v woul just wiggle off and my range sensor would shuffle .parking aid failure ,and when I turned it off it would still show car was in drive so when I tried to start it it would not start and say transmission not in park.it would show it in drive
