Hey there! My name is Shannon Cash and I'm a business and technical writing student attending Austin Community College, majoring in Web Development on a Computer Science associates degree. I also work as a Barista in downtown Austin Texas.

My interest in Web Development began when I saw the lifestyle software engineers could afford; the money, benefits, and flexibility to work where/when you want felt inspiring to me because I have only worked jobs that have been restricting in this way. I hope to be able to travel and work freely from anywhere, and have enough money to buy property.

I'm new to fixing things, however I recently took apart and put together my Ikea couch to change the placement of the corner.

I have a pretty ordinary life I would say, spending most of my time between work, school, and socializing with friends. Aside from this I enjoy trail running outside, walking around barton springs, and weightlifting at the YMCA. Despite working toward changing industries for work, I do still love making coffee and operating the cafe I work at.

Here’s an example of the monthly special I get to create each month: this was the Peach Cobbler Latte paired with a Walnut Tart, it was definitely the best special since I’ve been working at the cafe.
