Respuesta a "Home button too sensitive after screen replacement"Hey Guys Time for facts.. As no one commented on my post above, I talked to my (highly skilled) SMD repair connection, and it turend out, that he knew both the issue, and the cure. This annoying "double click" is caused by a damaged BGA soldering, on one of the small components on the HB flex, and arise when forcing the HB flex off the screen frame to fast, and without heat. Adjusting the screw as suggested elsewhere in this thread, will just arc the flexcable in slightly different positions, and thus the loose component might (in some cases), achieve connections required to function properly. In other cases (mine), not so much. The correct repair, is to re-solder the HB Flex componment. To avoid this in the future, heat the glass just right of the HB, to abt 60-70 degree celcius, and use something very thin, to slowly pry off the flexcable towards the HB key. I did it like this from day one, and haven't had this problem once. DO NOT heat up the HB key it self.. I am sure it will "break" somehow, and render y...
Respuesta a "iPhone 7 home button not working after screen replacement"Hi Guys Sharing here, my experiences with iPhone 7 screen repairs: Until last week, I've done 7-8 LCD original Foxconn assemblies, (and one refurbished assembly), all without any home button, or other issues. For all of these, I have re-used HB/Touch key, and all other "small parts", moving them over from the cracked screens. I have NOT moved the back plate, with HB key extension cable, I have only used VERY little heat on the lower part of the LCD metal back plate, to get the adhesive to let go of the LCD/Touch flex. Very little heat is needed, as the material is thin, and heats up in a flash. Better to apply a tiny amount of heat, than to pull the flex cables. BUT my lucky streak ended suddenly... The one I got in the shop last week, had a broken screen, AND a small crack in the HB glass disc. HB was/is dead.. (also before screen replacemnt, which the customer forgot to tell me). So, no click / no touch. It was dropped onto pavement, from "chest height", and the phone is now useless, and I can't help my cos...
Respuesta a "iPad Mini Home Button Not Working After Digitizer Replacement"FYI: This soloution does NOT always work.. I just had my second shipment of mini digitizers, which has serious problems with the HB flex assembly.. First one out of the box activated the HB switch randomly, the other was constantly activated.. even BEFORE touching the frame/housing
