Don't replace things without knowing they need to be replaced. If the battery does not last long or acts weird, then I'd replace it. But I'd try restoring if you can. That may be your issue. It's definitely an issue with your iPhones and nit the computer. Has it had water damage?
Leer másYou may have damaged the sim junctor that reads the card. Have you cut your sim card to fit the micro sim? Also, try using canned air to blow any dust out of the sim card slot. Also, make sure the logic board is sitting in the phone properly. It sometimes likes to fit in wrong, but look right.
Leer másBeautiful answer, Martin. :) I would also recommend buying the new parts if they will not set in properly. But that tape martin is talking about, I need to get some!!
Leer másWell if it's sticking up from the rubber, you probably left some of the old adhesive on the chassis. Make sure you clean that plastic chasers off really good. Then use a new adheasive, preferably 3m, but super glue works I guess. The rubber on the chassis is fragile. If it's sticking up or loose, rip the loose part off, better yet, cut it off with a razor blade. Just be careful. Let me know if that doesn't help. A picture of the problem would help me help you a lot more too. :)
Leer másOh man I had the same problem. Figured it was just a couple screws that went loose but I wanted to be sire and took it to the apple store. Turns out it was two screws that are visible by just taking the metal plate off. Just make sure all the screws are tight and it should be fixed. :)
Leer másHonestly, you may have pressed on the screen causing some pixels to be damaged. What I would try doing is applying some pressure to the screen where the pixels are. NOT TOO HARD THOUGH! Pixels are hard to fix, but can sometimes be fixed by heat and flashing many screens of colors on the iPod. I do believe there is a way to do this. Let me grab my iPod and I will see for you. Just one sec and I will post a comment with instructions.
Leer másIf you have a passcode on the iPod, you need to remember it... Also, posting the question twice with hardly any information really doesn't help... But try going into "Extras" then to "Screen Lock" and then reset the passcode. Hope that helps...
Leer másFiremensprayer, I would check to see if the "lock switch" is toggled on. That would lock all functions of the iPod except the playback. If it is off (no orange showing) then you can indeed do a hard reset to the iPod. To do this, press and hold the menu and center button on the click wheel until the iPod turns off and restarts. Then let go and see if that works. Let me know if it doesn't.
Leer másThat is a negative, Travis. The 4th gen iPod Touch is just like the iPhone 4. The LCD screen is fused to the Glass Digitizer at the factory. You need to purchase an LCD Glass Digitizer assembly. Plus, the connector to the digitizer is totally different than the 3rd gen iPod Touch. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. :)
Leer másTry restarting the P ram! To do this, you need to turn the computer off. Turn on and immediately press "Command, Option, P, R". Locate these before you restart the computer, because they need to be pressed before the computer makes the "chime" sound. Press and hold these buttons until the computer "chimes" 5 times. Then your P-ram should be restated. See if that works and if it doesn't, let me know. ;) Hope that helps!!
