I purchased a new lcd/digitiser but it did not come with a new home button. I've used my old one as there were no problems with it, but no I've replaced the screen it doesn't want to work. The flex hasn't been tampered with at all so should still work. How can I test to find out what the problem is? If I take the metal plate off and look underneath, there is the 'spring' that is associated with the home button. Is there anything I need to make sure that is touching to make sure it is working?

Having the same problem-have replaced the LCD/digitiser. It works perfectly but I can't get the home button to work. I took it from my last screen and it fits in perfectly to the new one. The connections all appear to be in line underneath, and there is a suitable click when I press it but nothing happens...
