Glued it once but it only lasted a couple of weeks. So now I am trying a different approach. As the printer is basically scrap I am thinking there is no need to be gentle with the thing and as its vertually impossible to take apart with screw-drivers and tools. So lets look at it from a different angle. We need to gain access to the cog on its shaft to so that when glue is applied we can see how well it has stuck. My plan is to cut a hole in the base of the printer to gain access to the area around the drive shaft. Watch this space.
