Hi Melissa! There could be a variety of different reasons as to why your levers are not staying down. First off, is your toaster plugged in completely? Sometimes the plug can get pulled out without notice and this would cause your levers to not stay down. If this does not work check out this troubleshooting page on how to replace the toaster levers.
