So does the use of the suggested 61395 tape negate the lose of water - protection? ie: if done correctly if i use 61395 tape will it retain IP68?

Thanks for the guide, but when clicking through to purchase the adhesive tape there are many different size options from 1mm, 2mm, 4mm, 8mm. I’m assuming its not the 8mm version but can you advise which width is best to use in this repair?
