Mi Problema

When replacing battery ( straightforward), display developed large blotched area.

Mi Solucion

Had to make a couple attempts to correctly connect large display connector ribbon, but when properly in place, it worked fine.

Be very careful with head phone connector ribbon to logic board. I damaged when removing and . . .

I started from the top-left corner of the device, not from the top. Then pushed the tool in the device: it opened fast and easily.

The center button on my old iPod was stuck. I needed to know how to the unit apart.

In the process I broke the screen. So I then ordered and replaced my screen. All is great now! Thanks

Don't put too much pressure on the screen... Be patient!

I dropped my iPod on the kitchen floor. Even though it's in a silicone protective case, that wasn't enough protection to keep the LCD screen from getting cracked. The iPod still worked, but you could not see what you were doing on the display.

I Looked at the way the IPod was connected and connected all the parts together. I removed the screen, that was the easiest of all and put the new screen in, the hard part was the headphone jack, at fist i dint hear sound, and the problem was . . .
