Mi Problema

Power switch was not working.

Mi Solucion

This is the second time i replaced the power/sensor cable.

The first time was 2 years ago and i managed to fix it with the help of ifixit also.

Mi Consejo

I didn't remove the front facing camera (steps 26 & 27) while replacing the cable and it was ok.

Mi Problema

Worn out switch under power button

Mi Solucion

Very challenging. The most difficult was Step 31 "unclipping" the sensor clip and "unwrapping" the cable from the ear speaker.

Mi Consejo

Put all the screws into cupcake papers and number them from the steps and colors where they were removed.

Phone took over 24 hours to charge and would only hold the charge for a couple hours.

Mi Solucion

The fix went really well but after I got it all put back together the microphone didn't work, I pulled it all back apart and there was a tiny plastic film over the microphone that is part of the Dock Connector, put . . .

Mi Problema

The power button on my wife's 4s broke - the common problem they have with the flex circuit.

Mi Solucion

I worked step by step, took my time and at the end the phone repair was successful.

Mi Consejo

A plastic spuder tool is too fragile to remove the battery. Use the heavier duty prying tool to release it from the frame. T . . .

Mi Problema

Power button stopped working unless you pressed really hard for a long time.

Mi Solucion

A bit more "Advanced" then I originally anticipated, The Connectors are under the logic board- so it was a complete teardown and reassembly.

Mi Consejo

Yes- do it-- once you take these things apart- there isn't much to them and there ar . . .

Mi Problema

Cracked panels, front and back. Bad ear piece speaker, bad power button

Mi Solucion

The repairs went extremely easy considering I have never repaired any type of phone. I purchased an IFIXIT tool kit from Radio Shack. That is how I found you guys. My parts came in on time and repairs took place. One phone I had . . .

Mi Problema

Power button did not work.

Mi Solucion

Repair was very simple, but took time & patience.

Mi Consejo

Do not remove front facing camera when installing this part. It is not necessary & very hard to place back if removed. If the power button is not functioning properlyl it is not the actual button that's bad it is the piece be . . .

Mi Problema

Initially, the power button had stopped functioning on my sisters 4S. I attempted to replace it with a part from a different online retailer, but the repair was unsuccessful. Once I figured out that the part was defective (replaced with the original power and sensor cable), I decided to order the sa . . .
