To add a SSD to my 2011 mac mini - it's cheaper (and more interesting) to go the DIY option.

Just check that the top hard drive screws (from the original apple installed drive) are located within the 2 holes prior to putting the logic board back in place. Other than that - just follow the fantastic instructions and images!
