A couple of weeks ago I took inventory of our tools and noticed we only had Torx bits down to a T6. I went to my boss and told him we should have bits down to a T4 in case we needed them. His response was skeptic, "Why would we ever need at T4, no one uses bits that small!"
Two weeks later a salesman comes in and gives us a Blackberry Curve 8330 with a bad keyboard. The boss pulled another 8330 out of the junk drawer and started striping it down to swap the keyboards. Once he got the faceplate off, guess what he found! The keyboard was held on with T4 screws and we had no bits!
We had some laughs and then he said I should probably order some smaller Torx bits.
We never got to actually complete the fix because the salesman went out and bought a droid before the driver kit came in.
Always have adequate tools on hand!
