Simple fix

howard -

Mi Problema

Not much to tell. The screws on the bottom plate of the MacBook Air (late Fall 2010) were not fully seated. I wanted to make sure I would not lose any of them.

Mi SoluciĆ³n

The screwdriver fit the screw heads (an issue I had heard others had had with other products meant to be used with these same custom Apple screws). That was the only potential obstacle and it didn't exist. I could back off the screws slightly and then re-tighten them to my satisfaction.

Mi Consejo

These are tiny screws, in shallow sockets. Be extremely careful torquing them, whether trying to remove them or re-anchoring them. Never force any screw, but especially screws this delicate in a precision casting like the MacBook chassis.
