Mi Problema
Like many others I went to play a game and my system started to come on then the evil light of death took over. That's when the power indicator light starts flashing and the system does not power up or allow you to eject the game disc. I decided to fix it myself instead of having to pay shipping and repair cost to Sony or any other repair shop. Then also wait 6 weeks for it to be repaired.

The repair went very well!! The kit came as describe and faster than expected. Then the feeling of accomplishing all of this myself was even better. I have been telling everyone about my experience and how happy I was with the process.
Mi Consejo
The repair is a lengthy process. So allow yourself some time to do things carefully and follow directions. If you read and follow directions step by step everything will be fine. Remember that you are taking apart the entire system and there will be a lot of screws. Keep things in order and FOLLOW step by step instructions.
