Fixed with upgrade to ios5

Iphone battery life was getting lower and lower.

Mi Solución

I got the battery replacement kit from ifixit, but I never installed it. Instead I upgraded the OS to ios5. This seems to have improved the life of my original battery considerably.

Mi Consejo

Try upgrading to ios5 first. Then replace the battery if you need to.
