5 - 30 minutos
250 GB just wasn't enough
Opening the case was easy. So was removing the screw and bracket. I hadn't planned on needing a Torx screwdriver for the anchor screws. Luckily Lowes was a 5 minute bike ride away. I had the new drive in in under 30 minutes. At first the hard boot from the Snow Leopard disk didn't recognize the new drive. I ran disk utility which did. I had it erase/format the drive. Then the hard boot recognized the drive and the install went without a hitch. It even prompted me to install with settings and files from my Time Machine back up.
Have a torx screw driver (T6) and know to erase/format the new drive before installing the OS.
