Macbook Pro (a1226) Hard Drive Replacement

Mi Problema

Needed more space than the 120GB HDD (5400rpm) that came with the computer. So I upgraded to a 500GB HDD (7200rpm). Used this guide: MacBook Pro 15" Core 2 Duo Modelos A1226 y A1260 Reemplazar Disco Duro

Mi Solucion

My first time opening a computer for a repair, other than simple RAM upgrades in the past. The guide mentioned the plastic clips above the DVD slot were hard to disengage and also to re-engage when putting back together - the guide was right. Here's the short story:
