Second time a charm

Mi Problema

Left fan began to sound like a buzz saw so looked for options. Some had success with removing and lubricating the fan so tried that first. After putting back together it was still making a lot of noise so ordered the replacement fan.

Mi Solución

Second time around it was quicker to open MBP case and get to the fan. Once in place and back together, whisper quiet.

Mi Consejo

If you have the time, try lubricating. If not, just order a replacement fan and save the time of taking it apart twice.
