Mi Problema
I bought a ps3 off of a friend for a cheap price. I knew it was broken but I wanted to try out the play station. After scouring the web to find a repair kit I found ifixit. They had the best price and the friendly guides to do it.
Mi Solución
After an hour or two of cleaning and dismantling I found the issue. The old thermal paste looked like some one put a glob in the middle. After following the thermal paste guide it was easy to apply the new stuff and reassemble.
Mi Consejo
Be careful when pulling out wires some can be wedged in and pulling too hard could damage them.
