YLOD Appeared On Original PS3 The Day After I Upgraded to PS3 Slim

I had decided to upgrade to a PS3 super slim, so I didn't have any use for my original. Seeing as how my sister loved playing it, I decided to give it to her. Alas, the day after I gave it to her, the YLOD appeared. I felt bad, so I decided to fix it myself for her.

Mi Solución

Repair went awesome. Though it feels time consuming, it is all worth it in the end. As soon as I got the kit in the mail, I got started. Total repair took about four hours, but patience is a virtue. I finished and powered the console back on, and it shown green again!

Mi Consejo

Definitely take your time, and follow the guide word for word. Also, definitely keep track of all your screws and ribbon cables. Taking your time will definitely pay off.
