My 21.5 inch iMac Hard Drive crashed totally.

It has been so far so good, The new hard drive i installed is working good so far and no more problem with this new hard drive.

Yes, ifixit is the best help with the instuctions by pictures and explainting..as well the tools i bought from ifixit.
