Got a used iPhone 4 with a cracked screen and non-working home button.

Thanks to the guides etc. on line and at iFixit, the repair went very smooth. The part fit perfectly and functioned properly.
Mi Consejo
Don't be in a hurry. I used a magnifying lamp which helped a lot.
