Battery was hardly lasting me or my father for a full day, and we have had ours since August 2010. It seemed like this was the most economical attempt to preserve the life of our phones

I recommend doing this process on a white piece of paper to see the screws, and with gloves on to protect all the electronics from skin oils. I would love it if iFixit gave us the best location to dispose of the batteries at.
